CERAM was able to use its expertise to aid the on-site testing at BT Workstyle 2000 to provide:

The Task

At BT's new state of the art Workstyle 2000, the client, Durabella Ltd, required the testing of 13,000m2 of raised access floor. This area of floor being spread over 9 sections on 3 different floors, which all had to be tested to a tight deadline.


The Solution

  • CERAM responded to this task by providing initial site visits to discuss and plan the quickest and most efficient method for testing the various areas.


  • Upon starting the test programme, CERAM ensured that staff were always on hand, to be in the position to test at a moments notice or, if necessary to aid and advise to remedy any problems that arose.

Outcome

Successful conclusion of the test programme for the client, Durabella Ltd, to Ove Arup Specifications.
Examination of site before and during floor installation to provide independent advice on the quickest route to continue.
Detailed air leakage rate testing, on over 13,000m2 of installed access flooring.
On site co-operation with the client, Durabella Ltd, and site managers Schall, to quickly remedy an problems encountered during testing.
