Our subsidiary companies share many of our resources and technology and CICS and CSMA are also located at our head office in Stoke-on-Trent. Each has its own unique focus and expertise, but also enhances the overall service we can provide to our customers.

CICS offers specialist experience and knowledge of CO2 verification under the European Emissions Trading scheme and also provides specialist quality and environmental certification services to ISO9001 and ISO14001.

CICS Carbon Consulting, provides specialist consultancy services across the whole spectrum of Greenhouse Gas emissions (GHG) assessment and reduction for both companies and organisations, including Carbon Footprinting and Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

CSMA provides advanced surface and materials characterisation and consultancy services to many industries world-wide; troubleshooting production problems, supporting research and new product development and validating materials and processes.

UK Analytical, which has laboratories based in Leeds, provides specialist testing for the construction, minerals and power generation industries, with particular expertise in testing concrete bridges for corrosion.

We also have a subsidiary based in New York State, North America; The M&P Lab. Through here, we are better able to serve the American market and draw on their expertise to enhance our service to existing customers. The M&P Lab provides materials evaluation and industrial materials consultancy to clients in the defence, aerospace, automotive and medical devices industries and to manufacturers of chemicals, high-tech metals, plastics, ceramics, pulp and paper and structural composites.
