The two complete lines for the production of granito, monoporosa and single-firing ceramic tiles installed by the Malaysian group MML Marketing Sdn Bhd (Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia) have been successfully commissioned and started up by Barbieri & Tarozzi (B&T Group) technicians.

The two plants include the body preparation department, which consists of 18 mills and an SD 11000 spray dryer, 6 B&T presses, two three-channel dryers, two double-channel dryers and two single-layer dryers in front of the kiln and 4 single-layer roller kilns. There are 8 Smart Line sorting systems complete with palletisers.

According to B&T, the two lines will able to achieve a total production of 11 million sq.m. per annum of high quality ceramic tiles.

Dedication to quality, service and R&D has given MML a premier portfolio of products, from the original versatile mosaics to the latest elegant porcelain marble series. The company, a major Malaysian manufacturer of homogeneous porcelain tile and mosaics, now exports to 79 countries.
